Q. What kinds of plants do you offer?
A. We offer over 130 varieties of veggies and herbs, several of which are heirloom varieties. The plants are grown from seed using all organic soil(less) media and fertilizer. Since they are locally produced here in Fremont, they are well acclimated to this climatic region.
Q. Do you use organic, non-GMO seed?
A. We try our best to source non-GMO, heirloom and organic seed whenever possible--however not all of them are. You can find out information on the seed we used for each variety at our Wiki Plant Catalog.
Q. How do I take care of this particular plant?
A. We are excited to share we have prepared care instructions for each plant offered! You can read them over at our Wiki Plant Catalog. In addition, please visit our Youtube Channel to learn about useful growing tips such as transplanting your seedlings, choosing a soil mix, and many more!
Q. Can I walk in and buy plants this year?
A. No. We are maintaining COVID-19 safety precautions by offering an online plant sale, with in-person, contactless pickup.
Q. How do I place an order?
A. Please go to LEAF Shop to make your online purchase!
Q. Is there a minimum order quantity?
A. No, this year we have no minimum order quantity.
Q. Do you offer shipping/delivery?
A. No, unfortunately this year we do not have the capacity to offer delivery. We do not ship items, everything must be picked up at C.R. Stone Garden in Fremont, CA.
Q. Are you selling honey this year?
A. Yes! We are selling our locally produced honey, along with honeycomb and beeswax candles.
Q. Do you sell gardening items such as soil, pots, tomato cages, etc.?
A. No, although this is a popular ask we are currently unable to resell these items. It is certainly possible in the future.
Q. How do I pick up?
A. Following your online purchase, you will be prompted to schedule an appointment time on Calendly. You will then receive email instructions on how to drive to C. R. Stone Garden, park and walk to the contactless pickup tables. Please wear a mask and arrive at your appointed time.
