Determine type and amount of wood needed for dome and purchase Dimensions in metric and imperial systems: Dome Diameter: 5 m (16.40 ft) 30 x Short sticks: 1278 mm (4.19 ft) 35 x Long sticks: 1457 mm (4.78 ft) Minimum width of the sticks: 32mm (1.26 in) Stick weight limit: 1lb (ideally no more than 0.65 lbs to leave room for cover ). Total weight limit for the dome: 50kgs (66 lbs) |
