Eruca sativa. The commercial standard with long green leaves and characteristic mildly spicy flavor. Germinates quickly and tolerates cold and hot temperatures well. Our strain has a mix of "cut" and "strap" leaf shapes when grown as baby leaf. Performs well as a cut-and-come-again crop. Heat and cold tolerant. [1]

Additional instructions: Protecting against flea beetle damage with row covers is essential, as they will lose their appeal when shot full of holes from beetle damage. If they are troublesome in your garden, try placing floating row covers over this crop the day you plant. Do not plant in the same location two years in a row.[2] Arugula Astro is referred to as “rocket" because it grows so quickly from seed, so when buying as a cutting be prepared for fast growth.
Harvesting instructions: Cut and come again - pick leaves around outer edge. Harvest at 55 days. Cut leaves about 1" above soil level to promote new growth.
