Anethum graveolens. Branching from the base, these dwarf plants have ornamental ferny leaves and are ideal for containers.[1] Can be grown for leaves or seeds and will self seed.

- Additional instructions: Pinch off spent flowers to help prevent prolific self-sowing.
- Its leaves are used fresh or dried as an herb in dips, soups, salads, seafood, and of course, pickles.[2]
- Harvesting instructions: For leaves, harvest as soon as they are big enough to be useful. For seeds, cut seed heads 2-3 weeks after blooming (before they turn tan). Place heads in a paper bag and hang in a dry location. Collect the seeds after they have dried and fallen off.[2]
