Tropaeolum majus. These vibrant cherry-rose colored nasturtiums are a special treat in the garden. Cherries Jubilee's soft, lipstick-colored flowers shade from light to deep rosy-red, a very unique hue for nasturtiums. These delicious blossoms glow in profusion above a sea of highly ornamental blue-green, lily-pad-shaped leaves. The free-flowering plants have a mounding habit, perfect to fill and soften garden beds or corners, cover bare spots, or cascade gracefully from your favorite patio pots or hanging baskets. Hummingbirds adore them.[1]

- Additional instructions: Water nasturtiums when you water the rest of your garden. There’s no need to water individually unless the leaves start to droop. Don’t allow the ground to dry out like a rock, but nasturtiums don’t like wet feet, either. The best companion plants for growing nasturtiums are: cabbage, kale, cauliflower, cucumber, gourd, beans, tomato, radish, broccoli, and apples.[2]
- Harvesting instructions: Nasturtium leaves, flower, and seeds are edible, providing a zesty, peppery flavor to dishes that is impossible to replicate. Leaves and flowers are tasty additions to salads and sandwiches. Pick the leaves when they are tender and small. If they get too big, they become tough. Pick the flowers to add the peppery hit and a bit of color to your salads. Pick the seeds soon after the blossoms fall to make a “Poor Mans Capers."[1][2]
