Helianthus annuus. Large, fully double and fuzzy blooms soft enough to cuddle with. Multi-branching plants have numerous bright yellow, eye catching pompom-like flowers adored by children and just about everyone else. Will bloom longer than any other type; highly vigorous and productive.

- Additional instructions: Sunflowers are tender annuals that do well in a variety of soils and do not need much care. Bloom time is late summer into fall. Great companion plants include corn, cauliflower, and squash. Not recommended to plant nearby beans and potatoes.[3]
- Harvesting instructions: Harvest for cut flowers when flowers are just beginning to open.
