Zinnia elegans. Annual. This easy to grow zinnia is a half hardy annual. Magnificent, large, dahlia-flowered blossoms of yellow on strong, tall plants. Blooms freely from midsummer until frost. Gorgeous in mass plantings and superb as cut flowers.

- Additional instructions: Pinching of initial bud or bloom and subsequent deadheading is recommended to encourage strong branching and bloom production.[2]
- Harvesting instructions: Harvest before flowers are completely open. Zinnias are annuals and will die with the first hard frost of fall. If you want them to reseed, let the last flowers of the season mature fully and scatter their seeds.[1] [3]
